Lily is a 2-year-old tabby who was recently brought into foster care after being abandoned and was being fed by kind people. She was already spayed but didn’t have a microchip (she has one now). Lily has short, shiny, soft fur; is quick to purr; loves petting, face scratches, and lap snuggling. She has met the resident cat and dog but has not yet wanted to interact with them. She has free access to the entire house at night (when the dog and cat are sleeping). She curls into a ball when approached and picked up and will stay on our laps enjoying being pet and scratched for hours. We have had her in foster care since April 9th, and she is slowly improving and relaxing as she adjusts and explores her new household. At this point, Lily would benefit by being adopted to a household with a patient owner who is willing to wait for her to become comfortable with her surroundings. She should be an indoor only cat.
Fixed, vaccinated and microchip, her adoption includes a free vet visit.
