Sylvester and Meelo

20 Monday Mar 2023

One-year-old Sylvester and Meelo are an inseparable pair of short-haired brothers. They spend all of their time together: playing, grooming each other, and cozying into their prized naptime locations.

Meelo is a chocolatey-brown, super-affectionate love bug who will adore your kisses and cuddles and sleep next to you at night. His loving gazes will melt your heart. With you at his side, he will knead his cat bed and purr himself into oblivion.

Sylvester is a black-and white-tuxedo with a black goatee. He is a handsome sweetheart who will take a moment to settle into his new home, then he will be a wonderful morning snuggle companion with the sweetest, kitteny “mew” that does not bely his significant stature. It’s a mystery as to why, but Sylvester becomes a moosh-gooshy, purry, drooly, floppy lovebug when you pet him on the floor of the bathroom; it’s his favorite place to hang out.

They are wonderful with other cats, will do well with cat-friendly dogs, and would prefer an adult-only home. They are neutered, vaccinated, tested, microchipped, and their adoption includes a free vet exam voucher.

Henri

Henri is a one-year-old ‘bullseye’ tabby with radiantly-orange fur. He is looking for a home that has experience with cats, big hearts, and who will diligently provide his twice-per-day medications, special food, and the affection that Henri needs to thrive.

Henri adores his human(s) and is grateful for every moment of attention. Once he knows you, he will look into your face (through squinted eyes) with the greatest love and gratitude. He will nuzzle his face into yours, and his motor of a purr will tell you how extremely happy he is. He spends his days curled up on his favorite cat perch with his best friend “Possum” (a beloved stuffed animal that he snuggles with), and he can be playful, especially at night. Henri seeks comfort, contentment, and love over exploits and adventures. He is a very mellow sweetheart.

Henri was likely exposed to a toxin before birth or has a congenital defect that causes lower-than-average musculature. He has no problems getting around, but his condition causes his eyes to be a little sunken in (because his eye muscles aren’t holding them forward), so his eyelids overlap. Because he seems ‘different’ to other cats, he is an easy target for bullying. Henri loves other cats, most especially kittens- oh does Henri love kittens! He would be a fabulous only-cat or would do well in a home with other cats that will treat Henri nicely. He will also likely do well with gentle, mellow dogs and in an adult-only home.

Henri is unique. He is beloved. He is seeking a home that is truly looking to rescue a cat in need and provide unconditional love and care for life. His special urinary food (to prevent crystals) and medications (1 oral steroid and 3 eye ointments) make Henri a more costly kitty to care for than average. He should continue to see a feline ophthalmologist at least once per year. If you would like to be a part of Henri’s rescue and his forever home, please get in touch.

Mac is a 2-year-old sweetheart with plushy-soft white fur, brown tabby spots, gorgeous green eyes, and bright-pink ears. He is a big cat with an amazing personality: He is a super-social, charismatic companion who loves to play. He will groom your hair (or beard) and will play for an hour with his favorite plastic ‘spring’ toys. He is hoping to find a forever family with kids, dogs or someone who is home a lot to spend time with him (even if he’s just curled up at your desk).

He is a water-loving buddy who will be your countertop companion as you do dishes and will sit outside the shower as you get ready in the morning. He will snuggle with you in bed and share your pillow at night. He will be your best friend and fur baby and will love you for life.

Fixed, vaccinated, tested, microchipped, has perfect litter box and household habits, and his adoption includes a voucher for a free first vet exam.

Lano

Lano is a one-year-old, black-and-white tuxedo buddy with soft, sleek fur and the sweetest ‘trill’ of a meow. He is wonderfully affectionate and will give you a lifetime of nuzzles, kisses, and snuggles. His happiest moments are spent kneading into a ‘furry’ cat bed on the couch next to you and purring himself into oblivion. He will need a patient, understanding family who will give him time to settle into his new home, and then he will be your devoted and loving companion for life.

Lano should be adopted to a home with another cat, preferably with a younger kitten. He loves to groom and ‘mother’ them, initiating play and cuddle time. He is a dear kitty who is full of love for you and other kitties, and would likely do very well with dogs and older cat-savvy kiddos.

He has perfect litterbox and household habits, and we keep him stocked with safe paper-based items to chew and shred (like cardboard box or packing paper), which he enjoys as one of his favorite ‘games.’

Lano is fixed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and his adoption includes a free first visit vet voucher.

Love-Of-Your-Life Luna

Luna is a 10-year-old, long-haired Blue Cream Torti Point Balinese mix cat with plushy-soft fur. Born without eyelids, she had surgery, as a kitten, to allow her eyes to be comfortable and healthy for life. Because she can only close her eyes halfway, she covers her head with her arm when she sleeps to ‘turn out the lights,’ or tucks her head into her cushion.

Luna is a sweet, affectionate, and happy girl who is shy of new people (especially men). She prefers a female human companion (or a loving couple) who will be patient as she settles into her new home. Then, she will gladly be the love of your life and your doting fur baby. She will follow you everywhere, and the minute you sit or lay down, she will be in your lap or at your side. She will chat to you and stand on her hind legs to request kisses and pets.

Luna is fixed, up to date on vaccinations, and her adoption includes her favorite home items, including her cat tree, food, toys, etc. Luna is an indoor-only cat; she has perfect litterbox and household habits and would love to be adopted to a quiet home with no other cats, dogs or kids.

*Luna is in the care of the human mom who adopted her, as a kitten, and due to family circumstance, has to find a new home for her. Feline Network is assisting with Luna’s rehoming.

McKitty

McKitty is an 8-year-old, short-haired brown tabby. He is an adoring companion who will bond closely with his human(s) and will shower them with love and affection. He is calm, gentle, and spreads joy wherever he goes; he would make a wonderful emotional support cat. McKitty will sit in your lap, sleep in bed with you at night, and he can be adorably chatty, especially at dinner time.  He loves to play with wand toys and sometimes gets into mischief by scratching the couch… He is very smart and knows several words including ‘No’ and ‘Bug!’ (one of his favorites). He is shy of strangers, but ventures out to meet guests when he feels comfortable. It won’t take long for McKitty to settle into a calm, kid-free home where he can be the only furbaby.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has perfect litter box habits.

*McKitty is currently owned by and residing with his long-time family, who are unable to keep him. Feline Network is assisting in his rehoming.

Big Kitty

“Big Kitty” is a handsome 10-year-old large (15 lbs) male cat with short gray and white fur. He is a friendly, social and loving companion who would love nothing more than to loll around the house with you, watching TV and receive gentle pets. He has a deep purr that will help you relax (great for your cat naps). He would prefer to be your only fur baby, though he will likely do fine with cat-friendly dogs and older kiddos. (He can become overstimulated by too much energy and petting.)

One of his eyes has been cloudy since he was a kitten and he does not see well out of it, but it doesn’t slow him down. He is fixed, healthy, and up to date on vaccinations.

*Feline Network is assisting Big Kitty’s owner with re-homing; he is currently in private ownership, ready for adoption to his new home.
